On Monday night when I came home from work I felt shattered. To say that the thought of putting on my runners and going back out the door was unappealing is a complete understatement. Hubby said, at least go out to the traffic lights to loosen up the legs a bit (a couple of miles). Did what I was told – once out the door thought I can probably do my 4 mile route. Ended up doing 7 miles. Moral of story – you might feel crap and shattered after work but often it’s not physical tiredness and a run will do you good. At least try a few miles – if you’re really tired then that’s okay. More often than not you find you can keep going and it even feels good!
